Migration of Informix UNL dump files to vertica

Hello,

 

Can anyone please advise whether it is possible to migrate large tables data from informix into VERTICA using the Informix UNL dump files?

Number of records in tables is approximately 3461231320.

 

If the above method is not possible can you please advise the best possible to migrate the data from INFORMIX into VERTICA?

 

Any suggesation are welcome.

If teh dump files are text data files with a delimeter, you can export the files and then import them to vertica with teh copy command!

a possible option is MnMTK, it transfers data, tables and SQL automatically. Even large databases can be migrated
