Vertica Spark Connector without HDFS?

 Hello everyone,

 

I am wondering if there is a possibility to use the new vertica-spark connector without the hdfs staging. 

I don't necessarily want to set up hdfs just to write some results back to vertica.

Is there an option I have missed somewhere? 

 

Or is there a later version planned without the need of hdfs?
