Vertica 7.1.2 Client driver create multiple sessions

Hello,

We are using TOAD Data Point to get connected to Vertica.
But we have seen change in the number of sessions getting opened for different version of vertica drivers.

For version, 4.x, number of sessions are expected.
For version 7.1.2 , number of sessions getting opened for a query are multiple.
We dig deeper and found that if we enable the Autocommit option, number of sessions are as expected but if Autocommit is disable, sessions are multiple for a query.

We have tried this with different versions of Toad Data point as well (2.6 and 3.1) .

We want to know if this is bug with TOAD or vertica client driver and why the Autocommit is affecting this when using vertica driver 7.1.2?

Have you tried for example dbeaver?
or another system?
