Clean-up old logs
I have old logs stored under /catalog directory which have about 50MB each. Can be deleted? I am running out of storage on partition which stores /catalog.
What would be the right procedure to delete them?

If you no longer need them, You can delete them. Vertica log is normally used by support in order to troubleshoot regarding an issue. Also you configure log rotate utility in such a way that will delete old logs after specified time. More information on using logrotate will be present in the below link
