Can Oracle pull data from Vertica

Hello All,

I have an application with back end as Oracle and it needs to pull data from Vertica database.

Is it possible . I was able to find stuff on pulling data into Vertica from Oracle but not the other way around.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Never been asked this question before as most of our customers are moving data in other direction. In any case, moving data into flat file and then uploading into Oracle or using some ETL tool could be your options .

    Can't do data dumps as its an Oracle based application which needs to pull data dynamically based on user requests. Its something like BO reporting tool. Any ODBC drivers that we can use.
