Hi,
I have cluster on Vertica 7.2.3-1 CentOS 6.6
I plan to upgrade to 8.1.1-9, Do I need to update the OS?
This version will work on CentOS 6.6?

Hi,

CentOS 6.6 is listed as a supported OS for Vertica 8.1.x.

I see, but

For vertica 9.0 also CentOS 6.6 is listed as supported OS
