Community Edition Upgrade from 7.2.2
So I have downloads for 8.1 - but apparently I missed downloading the community edition of 8.0. It looks like I need to increment through 8.0 > 8.1 > 9.0.
Upgrades are incremental. To upgrade successfully, use the following paths:
Vertica 7.0 to 7.1
Vertica 7.1 to 7.2
Vertica 7.2 to 8.0
Vertica 8.0 to 8.1
Vertica 8.1 to 9.0
So you have these incremental upgrade requirements, but you don't keep the older versions available? It seems like I need to locate Vertica 8.0 download in order to get to 9.0

Hi!
[IMHO] It will be faster&more safety to dump catalog&data and reinstall vertica from scratch, i.e. uninstall old version and install a new one(community edition limited to 3 nodes and 1TB of raw data) and after it recover a schema&data from dump.
@ronjonix - Send me an email at james.knicely@microfocus.com with this request.
James, I did email you...
I also attempted an upgrade from 7.2.2 to 8.1.1 and it seemed to go fine.
Do you know where the problems would be with not going through Vertica 8.0 to get to 8.1?
thanks,
Ron
Not sure, but you may have missed some important updates, like those made to the SYSTEM tables:
