Is it possible to deploy community edition on a cluster for testing its performance?

Hello team,

I would like to know if it is possible to deploy community edition on a cluster for testing its performance?
The customer downloaded Vertica community edition and he wants to set it up on a cluster and test it once.
It is very urgent, customer wants to get started with the enterprise edition as soon as he is sure that its performance meets our requirements.

Hi,

Sure, you can install CE on a cluster of nodes. As long as that cluster is limited to 3 nodes and has < 1 TB of data.

If you want to test a larger cluster I can put you in contact with a sales rep. He or she would be able to issue a temporary licence to accommodate your evaluation.
