HOW TO INSTALL VERTICA S3EXPORT -- Data movement from vertica to S3

Hi ,

We have a Use case where in i want to move the data from Vertica cluster to AWS S3 . I did come across below from Vertica forum -

But my very 1st question is how do i install the S3Export on vertica cluster ? What kind of configurations needs to be done in order to move the data from Vertica table to AWS s3 ?

Kindly suggest the approach to do configuration ?

The S3EXPORT function should already be installed.

dbadmin=> \df s3export
                         List of functions
 procedure_name | procedure_return_type | procedure_argument_types
----------------+-----------------------+--------------------------
 s3export       | Integer, Varchar      | Any
(1 row)

To use it you first have to configure he AWS Library.

Note: Vertica 8.0.x is no longer supported. I'd consider upgrading ASAP!
