Migration from old servers to new ones with upgrade.

My customer wants to migrate Vertica’ users, tables, schemas and data from old servers to new ones. Also wants to upgrade from Vertica 7.2 to 9.1 including OS.
What is our recommend method for this server migration and upgrade? Backup/Restore? Copy Cluster? 3rd party tools? manual transfer?
