installation on a big cluster

Hi All,
we are preparing to install Vertica on a 20 node cluster and do not know how the OS has been set up. We will have to check this first and then to do the preinstallation steps for the OS. Do we have the respective scripts, not to connect to the servers one by one?

local_verify is a good one to run the check but it appears on the nodes only after we install Vertica, if I understand correctly...

Any additional recommendations on this task wd be appreciated.
