Upgrading Vertica Version - Upgrade Duration Depends on Database Size?

Hi all,

How much of a factor is database size in the time it takes to upgrade Vertica to a newer version. How much longer will Verica upgrade take when upgrading from version 7.2 to 9.x a 100GB database vs 1TB database

    usually the changes are to the catalog only if at all. So the size time is dependent on catalog size rather than database size. Furthermore, the upgrade tasks are pretty fast, so i dont thing the difference will be more than a few min
