Extend the /data partition and route the vertica data into newly created partition

Hi am working on a production issue. Wherein my /data partition goes into read only mode.
This gets resolved after a reboot however, that's an temporary solution. After few days it again moves into read only.
We have vertica 3 node vertica cluster on CENTOS 7 and one of our node (node1) is facing this issue. The size of /data is 22 TB. And the data residing is 13TB. I have gone through few articles and found that centos has a limitation of 11TB partition.
So we have come to a solution to create an /data2 partition with 11B ( resizing the partition ) .
I am not sure how to route the vertica data into this newly created partition for a live cluster.
