Upgrade vertica 7.2 to vertica 9.x

Hi Experts,

I am looking for expert advice to upgrade the Vertica 7.2 version to the latest one due to the lifecycle.
The current setup is running on RHEL Santiago 6.10 and planning to upgrade.

Can you pls guide me on the easy way to go ahead to upgrade with minimum downtime and easier way.

The officially supported upgrade path: "Upgrades are incremental: you must upgrade to each intermediate major and minor release. For example, you upgrade from Vertica 8.0 to 9.1 in three steps: Vertica 8.0 to 8.1, Vertica 8.1 to 9.0, Vertica 9.0 to 9.1"

So from 7.2 to 9.x, one would add 7.2 to 8.0 upgrade, and followed by 9.1 to latest releases.
