Recommended Upgrade if Using Kafka UDx on 9.3.x

You may experience an issue when using Kafka Scheduler, KafkaSource UDx, or Management Console’s Extended Monitoring capability on Vertica 9.3.x. : Kafka UDx occasionally hangs, or the scheduler or extended monitoring stop for no apparent reasons.
This issue is likely fixed in Vertica 9.3.1-3 and later. We strongly recommend you to upgrade to this hotfix version.
