MC - Coordinating Vertica upgrades with cluster management, Eon Mode, and the MC version

If we upgrade Vertica or apply Hot Fixes, do we need still need to remove the cluster from Management Console and reimport it in Vertica using Eon Mode? Also, does Management Console also need to be upgraded?
