Eon mode: projections created on ALL NODES or all shards?

Does Vertica in EON mode required the projections to be created on ALL NODES ? In scenario where node=shard count e.g "10 nodes & 10 shards"

    It is created/segmented on all shards (except for replica shards, which is for unsegmented projections) instead of nodes.
