DBD and identical buddy projections

How effective is the database designer in the context of identical buddy projections requirements? Is it still recommended to include multiple projections ( including subset of column set)?

    I think it automatically makes ksafe projections, in the same way as CREATE PROJECTION ... KSAFE.
