Can you send a query to multiple subclusters?

Is there a way to send a single query to 2 subclusters for processing at a time?

Question asked at the 2020 Big Data Conference presentation Sizing and Configuring Vertica in Eon Mode for Different Use Cases given by @skeswani and @skamat .

    The query is sent over a tcp connection to a single node, which is part of a single subcluster.
    so no, there is no way thru vertica to do this. however the client can connect independently to each subcluster and run the same query
