Can you drop a table with DBD-generated projections without using CASCADE?

If DBD/Enterprise runs against a schema, currently you can drop a table with DBD-generated projections in that schema only as follows:
(1) Create a superprojection for the table
(2) Drop the DBD-generated projection
(3) Drop the table.
Is there a way to directly drop the table without using CASCADE?
