EON Mode: Error Removing Nodes

[Code: 9098, SQL State: V1002] [Vertica]VJDBC ROLLBACK: Cannot drop 1 primary nodes. The cluster would appear partitioned and the database would shutdown
This happened when going from a 3 node cluster to 1 node. I was not able to remove a node to completely go to a single node cluster. Vertica kept me at 2 nodes. I tested this on v9.3.1

This looks like it was a vertica bug that was fixed. Make sure you upgrade to vertica 11. That is what fixed it for me.

It's not a bug!
See: Minimum Node Requirements for Eon Mode Database Operation
@Jim_Knicely I already had the cluster at k-safe 0. I believe this ticket fixed the issue in 10.x
VER-75165
Once i upgraded the db to 11 then it let me remove to just 1 node
Ah, ok. That was resolved in 10.1.
We don't have too many clients running a single node Eon cluster
@Jim_Knicely makes sense, this is more for script testing purposes.
