Vertica Stored Procedure Scheduler?

I've been testing out the new vertica store procedures in 11.0.2 and we are looking at possibly migrating some of our scripting over to vertica. However, I'm curious if Vertica has a stored procedure scheduler. Right now we use SQL server for scheduling jobs. I know cron jobs are an option for scheduling but i'm looking to see what else is out there or if Vertica can do it.
