Vertica Console 12.0.2 issue - no info from graphs

Hi

I just upgraded vertia console to 12.0.2
The web UI shows databases are up and running.
But I do not see any data from overview page graphics.

There is this message:
Unable to retrieve chart data
Database .... is down!

Log file is full of this.

    Before I was at 11.1.1
    Everything worked fine.

    @raulk89 I just tried to reproduce the issue locally and it works fine.. I used MC 12.0.2 and imported database version is also 12.0.2.

    Strange.
    Are you using ssl connection to vertica database?
    Mine is encrypted, both, data and connections.

    Well, it is broken for me.
    Also tried previous version again, 11.1.1 works perfectly fine.
    This is not due to database version. I have different database versions installed 11.1.1 and 12.0.2
    With previous MC - everything worked.
    With current MC version - nothing works.

    Did you try only 12.0.2 or you did upgrade to that version from previous version..?
    Bear in mind we do not install new version on scratch each time - we upgrade previous version to a new version.

    Also, try SSL etc..

    @raulk89 Yes. it was 11.1.1-4 and then I upgraded to 12.0.2. I am using non TLS. Is TLS enabled for database or MC or both?

    Hmm.
    For database - Yes.

    But for MC, what do you mean by that ?
    I mean, if database is with SSL, then MC also must connect via SSL, otherwise it would not work.

    Thank you for confirming. For database is TLS enabled in server mode or mutual mode? Could you please open a support case and share logs etc ? it may require WebEx to review this issue

    Server mode.

    dbadmin=> SELECT SECURITY_CONFIG_CHECK('NETWORK');

    Spread security details:

    • EncryptSpreadComm = [vertica]
      Spread encryption is enabled
      It is now safe to set/change other security knobs

    Data Channel security details:
    TLS Configuration 'data_channel' TLSMODE is VERIFY_CA
    TLS on the data channel is enabled

    Client-Server network security details:

    • TLS Configuration 'server' TLSMODE is ENABLE
    • TLS Configuration 'server' has a certificate set
      Client-Server TLS is enabled

    I managed to get MC verion 12.0.3 (vertica-console-12.0.3-0.x86_64.RHEL6.rpm)
    It is fixed in that version.
