Non-sequential version upgrades with new version numbering scheme

Hi,

Vertica used to require sequential upgrades - you had to upgrade to all minor versions.
For example, upgrade from 10.1.x to 11.1.x require intermediate upgrade to v 11.0.x.
How it works with new version numbering schema?

I am checking docs, and for v 24.2 I can see only section "Nonsequential FIPS DB upgrades", where goal is to keep FIPS certification.

It appears, 24.2 docs no longer mention procedure with non-sequential upgrades.

Is requirement for sequential db upgrades has been dropped?

I want to upgrade from 12.0.4 to 24.2, do I need intermediate upgrades to 23.x or 24.x?

@scherepanov there is no need to upgrade to 23.4 or 24.x. you can directly upgrade from 12.0.4 to 24.2 . Please find the doc link which mentions about non sequential upgrades.
