Can I use Vertica as a Vector Database, including semantic search?

Hi,
I am looking for a way to store my embeddings calculated by a LLM and do similarity/semantic searches on those embeddings. So, basically, I am looking for a vector database.
In principle I could use the array datatype to store vectors in Vertica, but is there also functionality in Vertica to calculate distance metrics on arrays, like inner product, cosine distance, and L1 distance? I could not find any. Is anybody using Vertica as a vector database?
