Set restart policy on single node in AWS

Hi, I launched an instance using Vertica AMI image 6.1.2 in AWS. I plan to run Vertica in single node. When I tried to change restart policy from ksafe to always, I got the following error, /opt/vertica/bin/admintools -t set_restart_policy -d XXX -p 'always' Setting DB XXX restart policy to always and replicating to cluster... ERROR: Unable to set restart policy until cluster is fully reachable. The following communications failed: 127.0.0.1 from 127.0.0.1 Can you please help? Thanks!

  • Hi Mike, Please verify that the node have PASSWORDLESS access to itself. Vertica requires PASSWORDLESS SSH on the node itself. Thanks, Bhawana
