How to use R 3.0.3 for Vertica?

I want to use latest R 3.0.3 in Vertica. Vertica supports 3.0.0 R version. I have build R 3.0.3 from scratch, but don't know how to use it instead of default R which I have installed using vertica R package? Is there any environment variable that needs to be set ?

    Hi Siddarth,

    We have not tested vertica with R 3.0.3, but you could try it out.  Just install the new version of R in /opt/vertica/R on all the nodes.  You'll  also need to update all the installed packages. Please make sure that only one R is installed on your system. Multiple copies of R have been known to cause problems in general.
