HP Vertica Virtual machine

I downloaded the VMWare Server 2.0 and Workstation 7.0 (vmdk) file from myvertica.com on a Windows 7 machine. When I run "HP Vertica Analytic Database Server.vmx" using VM Player the VM starts but I never see nor the expected web page nor the login message to enter the Linux console. What should I do ?
