R Package Install Error
Hi
I'm trying to install the r package in a test environment, but I'm getting the below message.
rpm -Uvh /tmp/8.1_CE/vertica-R-lang-8.0.1-0.x86_64.RHEL6.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
vertica-base = 8.0.1 is needed by vertica-R-lang-8.0.1-0.x86_64
I have installed the vertica-community edition, see the downloaded files below:
Vertica File:
vertica-8.0.0-3.x86_64.RHEL6.rpm
Other Files:
vertica-R-lang-8.0.1-0.x86_64.RHEL6.rpm
vertica-console-8.0.1-0.x86_64.RHEL6.rpm
It looks like the installed vertica is 8.0.0 and the r package is for 8.0.1, hence the error, can anyone verify this, and If this is the case how can I update the CE version for the R package to be installed.
The OS is CENTOS7 based.

You can download Vertica 8.0.1 from the my.vertica.com downloads page and upgrade your installation. You can find documentation for how to upgrade your system in the
8.0.x Documentation. See the section "Installing Vertica"
Alternatively, if you have a enterprise license, you can download the 8.0.0 R Lang page and use that instead.
