Can I use the Linked Server to connect the VERTICA from MS SQL Server 2012
Hi,
According to my business request, we need to extract data from Vertica by MS SQL server management directly.
Could we create the linked server to connect with VERTICA?
Actually, I can created but doesn't work.
The following is the error message:
Msg 7399, Level 16, State 1, Line 16
The OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "VERTICA" reported an error. The provider did not give any information about the error.
Msg 7312, Level 16, State 1, Line 16
Invalid use of schema or catalog for OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "VERTICA". A four-part name was supplied, but the provider does not expose the necessary interfaces to use a catalog or schema.
