Vertica versions history, release date and End Of License information

SankarmnSankarmn Community Edition User ✭✭

I am a new user and started my journey into exploring Vertica.

A simple Question to start:

Vertica versions history, release date and End Of License information - where can I find in Vertica.com?

TIA

Lifecycle information for current Vertica versions may be found here:

I have Vertica Analytic Database v8.1.1. and few of them 9.2.1.
Not sure if they are express or premium edition. How to find it?

The small blue arrow to the left of 8.1 or 9.2 expands those sections. Express & Premium have the same dates.
I would copy/paste dates here, but the linked page is maintained, whereas this thread may become dated.

    Thanks.
The extended support plus is blank, Why?
Also from other blog I could see the below.

Vertica 8.1 End of Extended Support: Apr 30, 2021>

    Is this True?

On November 1, 2019 Micro Focus changed its Product Support Lifecycle policy as shown here:
    https://www.microfocus.com/en-us/support/faqs-for-product-support-lifecycle
One of the mentioned key changes is:
"Continued access to technical support for customers with an active Support agreement.
As a consequence, the Self-Help period is being removed, and
there will no longer be an end-date for the Extended Support period.
    "
That's why the extended support plus is blank.

Usually, Vertica do not commit to develop a hot fix for unsupported version
and request you to upgrade to the version where the bug is fixed.
Still one can open a support case for unsupported version,
The support engineer will do his best to help, however,
He/she might ask to reproduce the issue on a supported version.
