Vertica service does not start the first time, only 2nd or 3rd attempt

Hi Experts,
After I perform Vertica DB restore and attempt to start Vertica service. It takes long time and at the end it fails to start (without giving error message). The 2nd or 3rd attempts to start the service will succeed.
What might be the reason for this?

    The best place to start an investigation on this is in your vertica.log files. If you need further help, perhaps you can post the relevant logs, or you can always work with our support staff to investigate.
