3 Node Vertica Cluster setup. Later 2 of the nodes FQDN extension modified hence cluster broken

Setup a 3 Node Vertica Cluster 9.x attached to a Microfocus Application.
ie IP : 72.34.xxx.xx. FQDN : hostname1xxx.co.in
72.35.xxx.xx FQDN : hostname2xxx.co.in
72.36.xxx.xx FQDN : hostname3xxx.co.in

Subsequently for 2 Nodes the FQDN Extension is modiified
The FQDN modified as under:
ie IP : 72.34.xxx.xx. FQDN : hostname1xxx.conet.in
72.35.xxx.xx FQDN : hostname2xxx.conet.in
72.36.xxx.xx FQDN : hostname3xxx.conet.in

How to reattach the Node1 and Node3 to cluster again.

    • These IP addresses are the external network. Does the cluster have the Vertica internal network? Did you change either of them?
    • Did you see any error message indicating the reason 2 nodes could not join was the network connection failure by changing FQDN?
