Hallo, has anybody experience on the integration between Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation as reporting tool and Vertica as DB Engine? Thanks in advance

    what I want realy to know is if there are known problems using stardard jdbc connectivity between Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation (the tool does not have a specific driver for Vertica) and Vertica.

Yes, there are problem - OBIEE require scrollable (forward/backward) cursor, while Vertica supports for forward only(you have to modify certain JSBC code to adapt application). http://vertica-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=558&p=3879#p1836
