Hi All -
Looking for DbVisualizer Free for Vertica in, I find this page of the Vertica integration guide:

But the link to Big Data Marketplace mentioned there:

Is broken.

Can anybody point me, now, where to go to reach Big Data Marketplace now ...?

Thanks for any hints in advance ...

    Hi Marco,

The Marketplace was retired when we moved to Some content was not migrate dover, including this item. We are working on an alternative hosting location so we can fix the link to download “DbVisualizer Free for Vertica”. In the meantime, you can download the non Vertica aware free version of DBVis from https:/ We'll post on the community once we've resolved the broken link issue for the Vertica version.

@marcothesane - For now, you can grab it here:

Once installed you can upgrade it to the latest version.

And an update as we had a call with the DBVis folks this AM. It may take a couple weeks but we've sorted out how to have them host the download and we will host the license needed to invoke the Vertica enhancements. We'll post something in Community when this is ready.

  • Hi,
I'm looking for the DBVis installer for Vertica for Linux , can you post a link?

We are in transition of where the distribs are hosted. You can go to the dbvis download page and get the Free distributions from there. There is a special license which activates the Vertica specific enhancements. See my PM to you for more info. This should be up in the community content within a week, we just need to get the file and instructs hosted internally.

    I hope it helps.

I need 32-bit version "DbVisualizer Free for Vertica". Could you share and post it?

Can't you just download the 32-bit version from here?

Here's a link to an older version that you can upgrade once installed:

    Thanks, Jim.

Unfortunately the link is expired to download dbvis_windows_9_5_4_jre.exe.

Oops, I had a typo in the link! Sorry about that! Try it again...

    Hello Kaito and Jim,

You don't need to use the old link instead, I would recommed to download the latest version.

We have published the connectivity document for DBViz and we have decribed how one can use DbVisualizer Free for Vertica License.
    Please see the link:

In the section (Installing the DbVisualizer Free for Vertica License) it is detail how you can download the latest software from DB Viz and use the license key (that only works for Vertica).

Please let me know if you have any question.
