ODBC Failover timeout when using backup hosts/nodes

Hi,
Does anyone know if there's any vertica setting that controls ODBC timeout setting for connection fail over when using backup hosts/nodes ? Currently it takes a very long time to failover/switch to backup nodes when primary node failed.
Is there a setting just could solve this issue or is there any workarounds ?

    Please open a support case and mention VER-9179
    Besides the DSN connection properties mentioned here, JDBC connection properties include LoginTimeout
    and ADO.NET connection properties include ConnectionTimeout
