ldaps:// uri using TLS instead of SSL

When I use ldaps I see in logs that vertica is using TLS instead of SSL. How can I configure vertica to use SSL?

These instructions seems like are applicable to the clients connecting to vertica. These don't seem to be applicable to connecting to ldap over SSL.
