Document "Vertica Integration with Tableau 10: Tips and Techniques" contains typos
If you are using the document "Vertica Integration with Tableau 10: Tips and Techniques" (located here http://my.vertica.com/docs/Ecosystem/Vertica_Tableau_Tips_and_Techniques.pdf). In the document dated 9/12/2016 there are typos when referencing the parameter 'odbc-connect-string-extras' - it is represented at least twice as "odbc-connect-string-extra" or missing the "s" at the end of "extraS".
If the .TDC files do not match, it will generate what looks like a "bad password" error or will prompt for login to the Vertica database.

I think I've fixed the two instances where the "s" was missing.
Go to https://community.dev.hpe.com/t5/Vertica-Knowledge-Base/Vertica-Integration-with-Tableau-Tips-and-Techniques-Updated-for/ta-p/231492 and open the PDF. You may need to refresh your browser window to get the latest version of the PDF.
