  If your catalog directory is on a separate file system then ensure it has enough space. Main thing to monitor is memory. Your catalog is going to consume more memory and you want to ensure you have enough left to satisfy your query workload.

  Based on the documentation number of tables per database is limited by physical RAM, as the catalog must fit in memory.
