Why it is not allowed to change owner of temp table

Hi,
User left... user account got deleted... his tables ownership got automatically transferred to global heir account.
I am trying to set a correct owner of those tables. For temp tables I am getting an error:
[Code: 2368, SQL State: 0A000] [Vertica]VJDBC ROLLBACK: Cannot change owner of temporary table
For me it sounds like an unreasonable limitation...
Can you file ticket with development, asking to reconsider this limitation and remove it. Anyway, Vertica automatically changed ownership of temp tables when owner account got deleted. I do not see a reason why superuser cannot change it too.

I have filed a JIRA VER-95729
this issue is being fixed in major version(24.4). do you need backport for it?

No need to backport, it is a very minor issue.
